St. Michael's Orthodox Church on Hikes Lane, is having a children's consignment sale on August 21-22, Friday and Saturday. The second day everything will be discounted.

A Children's Consignment Sale will be held September 17-19 at St. Paul UMC, 2000 Douglass Blvd. in the Highlands. We are looking for new and good used children's clothes (newborn to size 14), toys, books and equipment as well as maternity clothes. Consignors receive 70 percent of the sale amount. If you are traveling on Hwy 31 into Sellersburg, you will take a right onto Utica Street and my shop is on the corner of Maple and Utica in a white building. Parking is available across the street and past the shop in free city parking. Or, you can "drop and run" at the front door. Please give me a call when you are on your way at 406-6680, just to make sure that I am available to meet with you.

Our Grand Opening should be within a few weeks. I hope to officially open by June 1. Consignors receive 50% of the sales price of the items. The consignment period on most items is 90 days. Everything is input into a computer, and all sales are tracked.

Now accepting the following items:
Spring and Summer clothing from newborn to size 8 in new, great or like new condition. This includes sleepwear, shoes, accessories, etc.
Children’s books, DVD's, CD's, and "educational" toys
Baby and Mommy spa items
Nursery bedding, and decor
Baby/Toddler gear including ring slings, carriers, diaper bags, bumbos, etc.
Handmade items, and Unique children's items

Please bring your items in for consignment in a plastic tote or laundry basket if at all possible.
Please pass this along to anyone that might be interested in children’s consignment.

most of all, im a freelance photographer (next to being a mom of course)

but i also sew, knit, etc.

i love knitting things like longies, shorties, skirties, and soakers

and sewing, well. ive mostly been stitching up recycled sweaters into longies, and soaker style wraps. in addition to pouch and ring slings. but i plan on working on some toys when time allows.

so, if you want to schedule a shoot, or have something you need knit or sewn, keep me in mind.

i will have a table at the mamas market (at the mamas hip on bardstown rd. saturdays) most saturdays, and i currently have a collection of cloth diapers (mostly wool soakers) that weve outgrown but im no good at putting forth the effort to list on DS. so i will be bringing my diapers for sale (this way we keep things local. and best yet, you can see, touch, etc.)

i wanted to extend an offer to anyone interested to consign their diapers through me (this way you can destash without having to spend your saturday at the mamas market if this spikes anyones interest please contact me and we can work out the details.

Wool & Hemp Off-Load and random ride-on toy

I've got some hemp scraps and wool of varying sizes (some full sweaters) that I am not going to use. I know someone could make good use of these items...I'm in Hikes Point and wanting to not send these items to the landfill.

Also...I have a red pick-up truck ride-on toy that needs the big battery from ToysRUs that costs $30 or so. I'm over big toys and this one was elected to be relocated. If interested, I can send you a pic.

I've got some diaper covers that Chloe has outgrown. I have 3 Imse Vimse Organic Cotton ones that are size small. (They are basically like a newborn size up to probably 12 or 13 lbs.) Then, I have 2 Bummis Super Whisper Wraps and they're size small as well. (8-15lbs.) They are well taken care of and washed if anyone is interested. I was going to sell them for 5$ each on Craigslist, but I will take other offers that are lower. I've also got a white wooden diaper changing table that I am practically willing to give away if anyone is interested. It was only used for a few months and is in very good condition. Also got some baby clothes, a few sweaters, a baby bathrobe, and a fleece outdoor jumpsuit. (Columbia brand) Let me know if anyone is interested or has any questions!

Maternity Clothing Swap

Hey Mamas,
A while back, a friend and I were talking about how nice it would be to have a maternity clothing swap for moms in our group. Now that I'm pregnant, I have a bit more of a vested interest in such an arrangement (heh!) so I thought I'd throw the idea out there.

I'm going to be using mine through summer of next year, and then would be happy to throw them into the rotation.

Is anyone else interested? As for needs, I will be in my second trimester in early October'ish, so would need more long-sleeve and long pants types of things. I'm probably a maternity size M or L (real life size 8).

We have two of the 1.5L SIGG bottles for sale. They are used (so yes, they have been dropped and slightly dented) but still work wonderfully.

I'm looking for fitted diapers, size small (mine will fit up to 13 pounds, so I need the next size up). Also, if anyone has any GMD yellow edge flats they want to sell, I'd be interested. Oh, what the heck, if anyone wants to offload any appropriately sized AIO's, I might be interested in those, too. (I didn't CD my son until about 5 months old, so I have a gap in the newborn stuff I bought for DD and the stuff from him)
