I'm not sure how, but little P avoided most of the illnesses this winter and now she has a nasty cold and fever. She's been just as sweet as can be, but she's sneezing and coughing and dripping snot everywhere. That I could handle, but the fever and listlessness is hard to watch. I finally gave her some Tylenol this morning. She's still got those sick eyes, but she's in the living room talking to the peonies we just picked from the neighbor's yard (with permission, of course). "Here's a little water, sweety. How you doin' flower? Are you doin' fine?" I'd take her outside for some fresh air and sunshine, but I walked out and nearly melted. Summer is definitely here.
